The true spirit of Christmas
Thursday, 22 December 2011

Our Christmas began, as it has over the last few years, with the Honeypot fundraising Carol Concert in Romsey Abbey. The night was clear, cold and promising frost later and the atmosphere was just perfect for the occasion. The Abbey was packed with hundreds of Honeypot supporters and, I suspect, many families of the Hampshire Collegiate School Choir and the Romsey Choral Society who gave us some beautiful performances of Christmas favourites and some original seasonal songs - at least new to my ears! It really was a delightful way to begin the Christmas season and remind us of the true spirit of giving - and raised £10,000!
At B&V we are most fortunate in having clients who share our understanding of the 'spirit of Christmas' and ask us to give to charity rather than deliver gifts they have no need of. So we are delighted to say that we have supported four local charities - all dear to our hearts for one reason or another.
So a very happy Christmas to all our friends at Honeypot, Mencap, The Myasthenia Gravis Association and The Alzheimers Society and to all our colleagues, clients, suppliers and friends.
May you all enjoy a peaceful and healthy 2012.
