B&V continue to support Honeypot
Wednesday, 26 January 2011
At B&V we have been working with the Honeypot charity since our 25th anniversary and we are very proud to have received the following letter in recognition of our work for them...Dear Angela and Colin
I want to thank you both for the donation of £300 in lieu of Christmas presents to one of your clients. It was a wonderful gesture from you and your client Stannah.
I also want to thank everyone at B&V for the ongoing support you ave given us for the past 3 years. Your support has ranged from donations to pro bono design work and referral of other supporters.
Through donations and participation in events you have raised nearly £2,000 for us in hard cash. Your pro bono design support has saved us thousands of pounds as you have been responsible for all regional artwork and Diarmid is such a pleasure to work with. Also now that Angela is on our Fundraising Committee and so many of your staff got involved in the Summer Festival, you have been a major part of raising another £2,000 for that too.
On behalf of all of the children who have benefitted from you support, I want to say a massive THANKS and hope that we can continue to benefit from your support in the coming year.
Yours sincerely
Karen Betancourt-Jess
Regional Fundraising Manager
B&V look forward to working with Honeypot during 2011. We already have a member of our team signed up to participate in the Honeypot team for the Great South Run in October!
'Telemarketing' do you or don't you?
Monday, 17 January 2011
To the majority of people when you mention the word telemarking they automatically have the image of hundreds of people crammed into a noisy office reading like robots from their scripts. So why use telemarketing for your business? How useful would information like, contact name, correct address, e-mail address, do they/would they require your product/service, do they current use that product/service, are they on a contract, when is that contact up for renewal etc. etc. etc. Obviously the last thing needed is a potential client being bombarded with 20 questions, but asking 7 could be justified. It’s become apparent that every business should be using telemarketing in their marketing plan, no matter what they have to sell, or the size of company. Even with todays technology it’s still a very powerful tool for every business to utilise. Telemarketing is not always about selling, how useful would your company find by having the knowledge of a potential clients re-newal date on their vending machines or IT hardware/software contracts for example? Armed with this information you already have one foot through the door, next step, a phone call to book an appointment for a Sales representative to go and close the deal, again telemarketing is a great way to do this on your Companys’ behalf.
B&V have carried out telemarketing for clients for many many years now with valuable results for our clients which have resulted in sales/contracts for them. So maybe it’s time that all companies consider using telemarketing in their marketing plan?
Why not give us a call and let us assist you in the best way to get telemarketing results for YOUR Company? Remember it’s NOT cold calling, you are asking for information to assist you to make the sale!
We look forward to hearing from you!
Another B&V PR success story…
Thursday, 6 January 2011

Once again, B&V PR has put a company’s name in lights – nationwide.
By broadcasting news of The Coffee Bean Company’s ‘RED Barista Championship’ to trade press, this leading South coast supplier of quality hot drinks solutions is enjoying UK-wide exposure after featuring in the December 2010 issue of Café Business, the No.1 trade magazine for the UK coffee industry.
“Great work, B&V!” says Robin Woodward, Business Development Manager for The Coffee Bean Company. “Our barista coffee-making competition was held in conjunction with one of our clients, major ferry company Red Funnel. It was a great success, and through your PR efforts, the UK coffee industry is now aware of The Coffee Bean Company’s growing market presence.”
With B&V’s promotional support, The Coffee Bean Company has flourished since its arrival on the South coast coffee scene in early 2009. Logo and stationery design established the company’s identity; web design and optimisation creates a strong online presence; telemarketing is winning new clients; and targeted PR is making sure everyone knows about The Coffee Bean Company’s success.
